Protection Level methodology

A protection score should explain what it knows—and what it does not.

The Protection Level, or Protection Level, summarizes supported evidence from authorized checks. Higher is safer. A score without enough completed checks is labeled incomplete rather than safe.

What contributes

Account exposure, identity signals, sensitive assets, location and routine clues, relationships, device protection, and connected risk patterns.

Evidence quality matters

Confidence, accessibility, exploitability, sensitivity, freshness, and verified cleanup affect how evidence contributes.

Completeness comes first

Coverage records which protection areas were actually checked, including checks that ran clean. Missing evidence never becomes a safe result.

Changes remain traceable

Persisted results identify their score model, explanation contract, collector contract, assessed inputs, and unassessed components.

Current model

Active public model version: 2026.09.2. Model changes require versioning, golden-score tests, review, and documented limitations.

What the score is not

It is not a guarantee that fraud or compromise cannot occur, a credit score, insurance, or a substitute for professional incident response.
